I believe that your sexuality should be completely up to you. I believe it should be your decision with who you want to spend the rest of your life with. I believe that the roles of certain genders have been developed throughout history. I believe it may change throughout history and different roles will be played by different genders. My response to the Westboro church was not the greatest. I believe that the people were wrong in how they were expressing themselves. I believe that you should be able to express yourself to a certain extent.

I agree with you that a persons sexuality should be completely up to them and others should accept them and not discriminate against who they choose to be. I also believe that the gender roles we see today have developed throughout history and will continue to develop and change as society progresses.
ReplyDeleteEven though it is seen as morally wrong to be affiliated with the same sex, i too believe that a person should have the right to live that way. Today a lot of women are beginning to hold job that are seen as typical male professions such as television achors. The working world and rights between genders and gays will begin to evolve with time. I thought that the Westboro Church video clip was inhumane and illogical. Some of the facts and issues that they raised were not true in any way and they acted in a rude manner to the public with their views.
ReplyDeleteUnfortunately some people feel that they should play the devil's advocate in every situation. The westboro church feels that soldiers are dying because of gay people! It's amusing to see that they are the only ones who really believe this nonsense to the point that the lady's kids are verbatim of her.
